Buh Bye, Haloscan
6-4-2 is now live with Blogger comments. Eventually I may do something about resurrecting the old comments, but this will be better for a couple reasons:
- The new style comments will be archived along with the pages, and Google-searchable. Haloscan comments, thanks to their Javascriptiness, weren't.
- The new comments should be as reliable as Blogger.com, which is to say, a lot more than Haloscan. You get what you pay for, I guess.
Comments:
I considered switching over, but the Haloscan comments are a bit simpler (no logging-in) and you don't have to navigate away from the page.
I love the way that Blogger now gives each post it’s own page! It should make searching the blogs a lot easier.

I like how it doesn't create a pop-up window.
and on another note, funny how I've read this blog for a while, but just noticed that the author is scareduck.
