Brewers 12, Angels 2
I stopped watching in the 8th after rookie Hensley started tottering. What with Ashcroft's bald lying (the stink on this one goes all the way to the top, kids), and the Angels stinking it up with their ineffective hitting -- Kotchman stranded eight -- it was almost not worth getting out of bed today. There's now two guys in the lineup -- Amezega and Halter -- below the Mendoza line, with Kotchman probably going below that level tomorrow. Kennedy's now nine games away from the Mendoza line at his current .091 average over the last week.
I just don't have the heart to talk about it anymore.
