The Big Mango's Big Game
Tomorrow we go against the Red Sox in a game that has immediate implications for the postseason. Win, and at two and a half games back of the Bosox, the Angels can credibly be said to be still in the wildcard hunt. Lose, and they're four and a half games back and effectively out of it, with only the division to look forward to. (In fact, they're closer to the division than the wildcard.)
That is to say, this is exactly the kind of game the Angels paid Bartolo Colon to pitch in. Win tomorrow, and he's finally earned his keep. Lose big tomorrow, and the Big Mango will be pasted, hard, and rightfully.
