Barry Bonds Has Knee Surgery
They claim it's minor, but dontcha know they said Robb Nen would be back by now.
SAN FRANCISCO -- Giants slugger Barry Bonds underwent arthroscopic debridement surgery on his left knee Tuesday morning and is expected to be at full strength by Spring Training.The 20-minute procedure, which was performed by Dr. Art Ting at the Fremont Surgery Center, was a minor arthritis cleanup. The six-time MVP felt discomfort on Monday, Oct. 4, the day after the Giants concluded their season, and did not want his knee to interfere with his offseason conditioning program.

IF(and that's a big IF), Barroids only had debridement surgery, he'll be up and walking on his leg in just a couple days, and can start his offseason training in a couple weeks.
I've had this surgery 4 different times on my right knee, and while I'm not a professional baseball player, I was in the military, and if I can do it, so can he. I actually put off my latest surgery- in case the Angels made it further into the postseason- until November, at which point #5 will be done, and I'll be ready to go by turkey day.
