Honey! Look, There's Hope For The Cubs!
Two stories of particular interest to the Cubs:
- Jack Clark, former hitting instructor for the Dodgers has lobbied the Cardinals to take him on as a hitting instructor. With his sterling track record in that department, I'm sure they'll be all ears. Or: Cubs fans, rejoice should they hire him.
- Don't Be Sele, He Can Pitch In Pittsburgh: Aaron Sele to the Pirates? Sure. Just don't ask if that Veteran Presence™ is an accurate predictor for ERA. With the list of free agents razor-thin this offseason, Sele ought to be able to find a job somewhere.
