Two Mailbag items from the respective sites. Ken Gurnick at dodgers.com:
- Brad Penny still hasn't thrown since his last outing.
- The Dodgers have a lease on Dodgertown through 2021.
- None of the trio of Ervin Santana, Bobby Jenks, and Chris Bootcheck are expected to contribute at the major league level in 2005.
- Don't expect Jered Weaver signed until January at the earliest.
