Giants Seek Tax Break
Four years into the occupation of SBC Park, the Giants are hoping to get their new park reassessed to lower their property tax burden, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. "'Ballparks, arenas and similar facilities tend to depreciate in value -- more like a car than a house,' [Giants senior vice president and senior counsel Jack] Blair said."
