Blez has lost his day job, but don't think that means he won't be working all the harder at Athletics Nation because of it. Yes, the unnamed columnist joining the AN stable of writers is former ESPN minor league columnist John Sickels. Apparently, that one signing has triggered an avalanche of interest from other widely-known writers (who they were, he didn't say). Blez clearly plans on going places, and I wish him the best of luck.
Update: Thanks to Richard for pointing out Sickels' new digs at Minor League Ball. (He doesn't seem to have minorleagueball.com working quite correctly for now, so make sure to prepend the "www." part or you'll be lost.) It'll be in the blogroll presently.
Update 2: Al Yellon joins forces with Blez, too, on Bleed Cubbie Blue. This is nutty -- why aren't they branding their baseball blogroll?
