The Sinkhole: Dodgers 12, D'Backs 10

Kent smacked a two-run homer to start this one off, and ended up cleaning up the bases with a double in the 11th to win the game.

Is it too much to ask the pitching to hold a four-run lead? Apparently it is; the Dodgers bullpen was only slightly less awful than Mr. Lisa Guerrero's stylings, coughing up four runs on 12 hits through 6 2/3 innings. In general, the pitching staffs on both sides looked as bad as one of the college games I've attended at times, as if none of the pitchers had bothered to show up at spring training. After the second, Vinny said, "It should be duly noted that Scott Erickson didn't fool anybody in that inning." How right he was. The only real highlight Dodger pitching had to show for itself was after Yhency loaded the bases and then got Troy Glaus and Shawn Green to strike out to end the inning.

I am absolutely not feeling good about this club minus Gagné and especially with Drew starting so slow.
