Rule of thumb for fans of a Moneyball team, from an experienced fan: from the time you decide that something absolutely, positively must be done, you have to wait two weeks before that thing is actually done.
I'd give it 14 days instead of 24 hours.
I'm not quite sure what they do in those fourteen days, but it always seems to take that long.
