After pounding the Nats 7-4 and 8-1 in the prior two games, the Nationals finally returned the favor behind starter Sunny Kim. Half of the damage came off the bat of centerfielder Brad Wilkerson, who went 3-5 and drove in four runs. Craig Wilson took the loss for the Rangers.Mariners 11, Mets 5
The kind of blowout M's fans have been hoping for for a long time now, Seattle got contributions from virtually everyone up and down the line, with only Randy Winn having an 0-4 day. Adrian Beltre was 2-4, and is now hitting .248/.285/.364. That last number isn't in the neighborhood they wanted, but at least the first one isn't an embarrassment. A sweep at the hands of the Tribe, the Diamondbacks have lost their last four straight games. The Dodgers have been unable to capitalize, as they've lost six straight. Shawn Estes took the loss for the Snakes, and Jake Westbrook won for Cleveland.
