UTK Quick Hits
Relevant stuff from today's UTK:
- Bonds: All-Star break?
- Adam Eaton may be back by this weekend after his scary ligament problem in his pitching hand, though he may not be throwing to his expert catcher, Ramon Hernandez. Hernandez is likely headed for the DL after tests showed no progress in his injured left wrist. Decisions on both players should come Tuesday.
- "Tim Salmon thinks he can return by the end of the season." Good for Timmy. I just don't know if the Angels could afford to put him in the lineup for a month while his bat warms up. They already have too many DH types who can't hit worth a damn, but it might be worth it to sign him next year to a low-dollar-value contract to see if he can fill out the DH for an auld lang syne tour.

a month to warm up? try three. the guy is historically useless until after all star break and that's after having as full spring training.
