UTK Quick Hits

From today's UTK:

Comments:
This Bradley news is getting worse and worse. There really is no hope if he doesn't come back soon. It just seems the Dodgers have done a really poor job of handling the injuries they've had.

I'm inclined to think DePodesta has been intentionally gambling on injury-prone players; this is just the year the debt comes due. I'm not saying I would have done differently (that would be lying), but I wonder that he hasn't ignored his medical staff and/or scouts too often in some of these signings.

Also -- given this is a ligament, it seems the options would come down to a couple:

1) Let it heal. Who knows how long that will take.

2) "Tommy John"-equivalent surgery for the injury. I have no idea if anyone has ever done such a thing, nor how long it would take to recover from such a thing.
