We Could Be Heroes: Tales From The Minors

Comments:
When Kendry Morales was still with the Quakes, I watched him play in Lancaster against the JetHawks. He had a quiet night: one loud out, a couple grounders to the right side to move runners over.

I didn't find him to be necessarily big but rather simply well-developed, well filled out and solid for a kid his age. His build and stature at the plate reminded me a bit of Edgardo Alfonzo. A bit on the stocky side. But he moved well over at first. Also, Morales seemed older and more mature than many of the other single A players.

Are we certain of his age?

Being a large prison, Cuba's wardens keep better records than the Dominican. I don't recall any talk of his age being up for question, but I could certainly be wrong.
