Yankees' Turn In Hell

The Yanks lost last night 4-3 to the Brewers, the middle of the NL Central's less-than-compelling pack. That says bunches about both how much the Brewers have improved in late years (new owner Mark Attanasio has, it seems, infused new life into the team) as much as it says about the $210M Gotham geezers. The wags continue to pen stories anticipating another Steinsplosion, but the Boss has tended to disappoint on such matters lately. That things look pythagorealistically better for the Brewers than for the more-or-less .500 Yankees is an amazing thing; had you told me that three years ago, I would have called Fairview.
