What a mess the bullpen is, and Broxton is part of the problem. I'd suggest sending him back down, but it's not gonna work because of the overall thinness at the major league level. Ready or not, here he bombs, with a 10.38 ERA. Yeah, I know Schmoll really lost the game and deserved to given the five earned runs he coughed up, but man, this was pathetic.
And did I mention the great job Kent did with that Golden Sombrero? In some ways, it wasn't as bad as all that, simply because the Dodgers stranded 22 runners; that is to say, at least they're getting guys aboard to strand.
Update: I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often from the upper seats at Dodger Stadium into the concrete below, just on principle.
