Kerry Wood To Have Shoulder Surgery

More towel-throwing by the Cubs, as Kerry Wood will have shoulder surgery. Presumably his season is over.

Update: Yes, it is.

And the Cubs found it necessary to trot him out there for a meanlingless inning in the loss to the Dodgers last night. Why have him throw that inning if he needs shoulder surgery? Seems very dumb to me - must've been Dusty's idea.
