Bill Stoneman -- or do we credit Mike Scioscia? -- finally recognizes the obvious, as Steve Finley gets benched for a few games."As a hitter, you never want time off," Finley, who signed a two-year, $14-million free-agent contract with the Angels in December, said with a shrug. "But I guess right now, I'm in hitting rehab."Whatever, Finley-less lineups represent an improvement. Finley is benched for the series with the Devil Rays, but is expected to return later in the week for the A's series. Great.
