Roster Notes
- I forgot to mention this yesterday: the Giants have placed Moises Alou on the DL, with a right hamstring strain.
- Giants reliever Scott Munter, 2.39 ERA and 2-0 in 44 appearances, was also disabled, due to elbow inflammation.
- Mariners OF Chris Snelling has a torn ACL, and is likely done for the year. All-you-can-eat sneering at Lookout Landing.
- Not really a roster note, but an interesting sidebar on the King Felix hoopla: Lookout Landing published a short reader letter about Wally Bunker, a Baltimore pitcher showing great promise who got overworked in the minors, and subsequently ended up out of baseball by the time he was 27.
