Colon To Start Today
According to the Riverside Press-Enterprise, Bartolo Colon will make the start today.
After a week of wondering, Bartolo Colon met with Scioscia for an extended period of time and convinced him he's ready to pitch today.
Colon threw in the outfield for about five minutes on Friday and said that the pain in his back was bearable enough to pitch. He left Sunday's game early with pain.
"He did a lot of exercises to test it," Scioscia said. "The range of motion is there, the flexibility is there. It's night and day where he was. He wants to start. His confidence gave us confidence."
