Injury And Roster Notes
UTK Notes
From today's UTK:- Bobby Crosby may actually be back in three weeks; Rich Harden will likely miss his next start (with more possible depending on his pain tolerance); and Mark Kotsay should return some time this weekend.
- "Expect Barry Bonds to put on a show when he returns to his team early next week. Reports from his UCLA sessions were overwhelmingly positive, though it’s still unclear when/if he’ll be activated."
- "Keep your eye on Sean Burroughs. He’s been working with Dr. Chris Yeager." Is that like working with Gen. Chuck Yeager?
Roster Moves
- The Padres activated starting catcher Ramon Hernandez.
- The Rockies activated SS Clint Barmes from the DL. Barmes looked set to become a Rookie of the Year candidate when his season was derailed by a broken collarbone incurred when carrying a bag of deer meat up a flight of stairs (huh?). The Rocks also activated OF Brad Hawpe.
