From milb.com we get a list of the best hitters in 2005, which includes Kendry Morales, Brandon Wood, and Howie Kendrick for the Angels, as well as Andy LaRoche for the Dodgers.
Baseball America, in their continuing series on the best players in each league, have selected Hainley Statia, Stephen Marek, Jose Arredondo, Bobby Mosebach, and Mark Trumbo from Orem in their list of top 20 players in the Pioneer League, five players or one quarter of the list. Wowsers. For the Dodgers, Juan Rivera and Ivan DeJesus, Jr. made the list.
