Two Games

Deja Vu: Rockies 11, Dodgers 1

Weren't we here yesterday?

Recap

Nobody's Perfect: Mariners 6, Angels 3

Headline: "Escobar to Join Pen"

And just in the nick of time, as the bullpen blows another game. Of the relief corps, only Esteban Yan -- Esteban Yan! -- was able to record an out without giving up a run, including Jason Christiansen and his tired arm in its Angels debut. You couldn't ask much more from Wash, who threw 95 pitches, but could have maybe gone another inning, though he would have faced the top of the Mariners order and perhaps not in the best of all possible shape. Regardless, at least Frankie didn't blow it, if only because his name never came up.

Recap

Comments:
Make Escobar the setup man AND the closer. He can go two at a time. Make Frankie the 7th inning guy, and make Shields and Donnelly the janitor and lawn mower.
