A battle of AFL postseason contenders, the Desert Dogs slaughtered the Scorpions, but that's not to say that individuals didn't do well. Both Kendrick and Wood had solid multi-hit games, with Kendrick putting on an impressive power display, belting his fifth homer and a pair of doubles. Despite the loss, the Scorpions clinched an AFL playoff berth.

Dodgers prospect Eric Hull led Phoenix to an impressive win following Monday's embarrassing 17-1 loss. James Loney went 2-4 with a three-run dinger, while Matt Kemp went 2-4 to bring his AFL average up to .378. With the win, Phoenix also got a playoff slot.
