Today's entry is George Hendrick, the almost-but-not-quite washed-up slugger the Angels picked up in 1985 as part of a salary dump from the Pirates. Hendrick recently joined Joe Maddon in Tampa Bay as a first base/outfield coach, and the Rev provides an anecdote about how he indirectly ensured David Eckstein would arrive on the team.Happy Turkey Day, All
