More Roster Notes
Mostly from Rotoworld, of course...
- Another report -- this one in the New York Daily News has David Wells becoming a Dodger today.
- The Indians are pursuing Javier Vazquez, but they won't give up Coco Crisp. Rotoworld speculates the Cards might get interested after losing out on A.J. Burnett, who signed with Toronto today.
- Former Angel Bret Prinz signed a minor league deal with the Rockies.
- The Dodgers are supposedly interested in Matt Morris.
- Dusty Baker had lunch with Milton Bradley last month after receiving permission from the Dodgers.
- Did you know former Angel and Giant J.T. Snow was a free agent? Neither did I, but apparently the Pirates have made him an offer on a one-year deal.
- Rotoworld cites Peter Gammons without an article link as saying the Dodgers are after Alfonso Soriano.
- USA Today says that the Padres are willing -- eager, even, considering his lack of production -- to move Sean Burroughs for Dewon Brazelton. Suckage for suckage...
- The Padres and Nats are considering doing a Terrmel Sledge for Dave Roberts swap.
- In that same article, Carl Everett is supposedly close to becoming a Mariner, and LaTroy Hawkins is about to become a Met.
