All Those White Guys Look The Same!
Proof that Ichiro wasn't properly introduced to the M's new offseason free agents:
When Ichiro walked into the Seattle clubhouse to meet and greet his teammates prior to Japan's game against the M's, he gave a hearty welcome to one of the club's left-handed pitchers.White guys all look the same, I tell you..."Hey, Wash, welcome to Seattle," he said.
The only problem was, it wasn't Jarrod Washburn, the Mariners' pricey free-agent acquisition from the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. It was Travis Blackley, the Australian southpaw who is battling back from a serious shoulder injury that wiped out his entire 2005 season.
