Antonio Perez Struck In The Face By A Foul Ball
Oakland INF Antonio Perez was struck in the forehead by a foul ball he hit himself in today's Angels/A's game. Last December, he was hit in the cheekbone in the Dominican Winter League by a fastball.
Comments:
I was at that game (right behind home plate) and cringed when it happened - as did the rest of the crowd. The ball bounced off the ground right into his face. It was ugly - to say the least. He never went down though - and for a minute of two, it looked like he might stay in the game, but he walked off on his own power.
