The Awful State Of The Reds Bullpen: Cardinals 8, Cincinnati 7

With your team on the road and up by one, a man on first, Albert Pujols coming up at bat, and Scott Rolen on deck, do you (a) pitch to Pujols, or (b) take your chances with Rolen? I know which I would have taken, but the Reds get to add another one to the loss column. It's especially puzzling considering that Dave Weathers was 5-10 against Pujols before the game started.

Comments:
Why were they talking about Pujols v. Looper? Looper and Pujols are on the same team. Did you mean Pujols v. Weathers?

Yahoo! Sports does show Pujols as 5-10 off Weathers...

Ah, duly corrected.

Especially since Pujols already had two home runs in the game.

Three. Pujols had three home runs (durnit) in this game.

But two coming into the at bat.
