Break Out Yer Rose-Colored Goggles: Gagné's Surgery "A Success"
However little or much you may think of the team's pronunciamentos at this point, they're saying Gagné's surgery was a success. The optimistic spin is he'll be back in a couple months, but who really knows. Eric Gagné is really just another way of spelling Mark Prior, except without all the starts.

But this could possibly be worse than Prior's situation. Losing feeling or motor control in your pitching hand is disastrous.
I can also see K-Rod eventually messing up his arm with his delivery, which has more of a disconnected motion than Gagne's. I wouldn't be surprised if K-Rod saw some flare-ups this year.
