Edwin Jackson Survives Texas

Edwin Jackson somehow managed to survive today's start, giving up only five earned runs over seven innings in a 6-5 loss to Texas. Francisco Cordero gave up three runs in the ninth on a three-run Ty Wigginton homer to make it close, but the Devil Rays' rally ran out of steam, and the team clearly missed Danys Baez, as closer reliever Shawn Camp surrendered the go-ahead run.
