Eric Gagné To Have Second Elbow Surgery; Ned Colletti Doesn't Feel So Well, Either

Coming back from Dame Edna's new show at the Ahmanson -- think Don Rickles in drag -- we heard the astonishing news that Eric Gagné will have a second elbow surgery that could cost him, optimistically, four to six weeks, but the obvious connection to his season lingers beyond.

Yeah. I hope the reports that this is what is being done are incorrect.
 
I'm not sure what reports you're reading, but all the ones I've read say that the nerve is being moved, not removed. Don't ya think the doctors are smart enough to realize that removing it would be highly detrimental?
 
The original surgery was to remove the nerve. This is to remove it.
 
The fact that it's not the ulnar nerve being removed is fantastic news for Gagne.
