Florida House Set To Vote On Bill To Provide Spring Training Subsidies
The House of the Florida legislature is preparing to vote on a bill that would provide $15M in subsidies to the 18 teams that now call that state home for spring training, according to the AP. Five teams (the Orioles, Reds, Indians, Pirates, and Devil Rays) have contracts that expire within the next five years.
