- Well, of course the big news is the Angels' kids hijinx today. Napoli is the 92nd player and the third Angel to homer in his first major league at bat. Update: Travelerocity points out that all five of the Angels' scoring plays featured a former Trav, and six of the nine starting players were former Travs.
- The Red Sox optioned Hee Seop Choi to AAA Pawtucket.
- 6-4-2 will be on something of a limited schedule while I'm in Arkansas. So I won't get to tonight's test of endurance against the Padres in Chavez Ravine until tomorrow morning. But all the usual features will be around.
