Another weak class today...Roster Notes
- Darin Erstad has a bone spur on his ankle that he felt wasn't sufficient to keep him off the field, but his injury, his weak offense so far, combined with the lefty on the mound was enough as far as Mike Scioscia was concerned.
- Kelvim Escobar may make his regular start on May 9 against the White Sox after all, putting Kevin Gregg back in the bullpen.
- Juan Rivera is scheduled to take batting practice tomorrow, and might get a rehab assignment shortly thereafter.
- Kelly Wunsch is not pitching for Las Vegas, and is only doing strength exercises. He has had a setback in his rehab.
- Eric Gagné has made 50 throws from 75 feet and "said he felt good", for whatever that's worth.
- The Dodgers have recalled Andre Ethier from Las Vegas, sending Ricky Ledee to the 15-day DL. Ethier will be tonight's starting left fielder. Update: more on this from MILB.com.
- Milton Bradley will miss 3-4 more games; Rotoworld speculates they will put him on the DL.
