Dave Studeman: Ten Things About Los Angeles Baseball
Thanks to Jon for pointing out this Dave Studeman Hardball Times piece on the two teams I follow here. The Angels are scoring like the Dodgers are supposed to and vice versa, Angels pitching sucks (and their kids don't look so hot, either), the Dodgers starting rotation is about to suck, and a bunch o' other good stuff.
Comments:
Conspicuously absent in Studeman's discussion of the Angels' youngsters was the name of Mike Napoli.
I do hate when, in the interest of greater contrast, writers drop the more complex shades.
Whoops!

And of course neither does James Loney, another misfire whose fortunes will have to be settled with more time at AAA. Really, I sometimes think Russell Martin is carrying this crew on his shoulders; Andre Ethier's average had fallen to .222 before the series against the Angels.
