Izturis Reactivated, To Start At Third

The Dodgers reactivated Cesar Izturis and will play him at third. It's crazy, but as Jon noted, Grady Little does let his bad experiments end. Bill Mueller was moved to the 60-day DL, and Willy Aybar was sent down to AAA Las Vegas.

Comments:
Exactly which part of Aybar's line of .274/.364/.443 was deemed insufficient, warranting that he be replaced by Izturis?

I think it was the part where he was providing spotty fielding. How that was supposed to be fixed by moving Izturis to a position he has not played save for instructional camp at spring training is a mystery to me.

I suppose that a GG-caliber shortstop should be able to handle 3B competently.
