Mid-Day Angels Roster Notes
- The Angels are considering pulling the plug on Kendry Morales, possibly sending him down after Mike Scioscia called his most recent at bats "a little fuzzy". Dallas McPherson might get the callup, but he's only hitting .223 with 64 strikeouts in 139 at bats in AAA.
- The Angels also think Howie Kendrick is ready to be a full-time player.
- Kelvim Escobar, on his elbow, which he thinks was harmed by offseason work in the winter leagues:
"It's sore. It's very sore," Escobar said Sunday, the day after he pitched seven innings. "If you feel fine, you throw your pitches. I've been pitching like that the whole season. My first 10 games, I'd get to 100 pitches, and it was really sore."

I got kicked off http://www.halosheaven.com/ for among other things, ragging on AK and saying HK needed to get called up. I said a platoon situation at 2b might even wake up AK a bit.... right on both counts. Ironically the head guy at http://www.halosheaven.com/ now LOVES HK.

Johnsamo, you were also an irritant who had a silly mancrush on a mediocrity like Jacque Jones among other laughter-inducing trade suggestions. I don't necessarily support banning, and it's unclear to me that the Rev was justified in doing that, but I'll say this: it's his site. As for the platoon with Kendrick, this marks the second time you've waffled on that point; why should anyone take you seriously?
