Slide Show: Nick Adenhart's First Cal League Game
I unfortunately lost all my notes from Nick's first game, or maybe it's more appropriate to say that I mislaid my notes starting about the second inning and found them in the seventh, which left me without any way to write down what I was thinking as he was pitching. My general impression was that he was having trouble with his control, as he perpetually got into full counts and hitter's counts early in the game, but settled down late. He throws across his body, and yikes.
Comments:
Is the yikes a reference to another Angels pitcher stressing their arm by throwing across their body??
