my point is that it's about being in 2nd place - IT. SUCKS.

I used to work for a man who claimed that his use of the word "nigger" was acceptable because where he grew up, it supposedly applied to whites and blacks. That may have been so, but I can't imagine that there would have been an African American anywhere who wouldn't have taken offense. Whatever your reasoning is and was, you're just sinking deeper into the quicksand by defending adolescent usage.
