Minor League Scorebook
News
- One erratum from yesterday: I forgot to mention in yesterday's scorebook that Scott Elbert of the Dodgers also made the AFL roster.
- In the Olympic qualifying games, Canada Canada beat Team USA 6-3. Brandon Wood was 0-3; Nick Adenhart took the loss while pitching two-thirds of an inning, giving up five earned runs.
- Here's an article about the return on the Shawn Green trade, pitcher Evan MacLane.

Hensley: 2.0 IP, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 H, 2 K, 0 BB, 4.40 ERA
Tommy Murphy homered in a game where the visiting Sky Sox annihilated Dustin Moseley. Moseley didn't help himself by walking the bases loaded following a pair of singles in the top of the second, then giving up an RBI single, a wild pitch, and a double; in the third, he gave up a double, a pair of singles, an RBI triple, and a sac fly. Jebus.

Jepsen: (BS, 6)(L, 4-4) (in relief), 0.1 IP, 2 R, 1 ER, 1 H, 0 K, 1 BB, 3.42 ERA
Echoing the big club's misadventures, Francisco Rodriguez gave up six runs, all in the second inning, capped by a German Duran grand slam. Thanks to a one-out error by Freddy Sandoval, none of the runs were earned, because Rodriguez picked off Brandon Boggs at second, which would have been the third out. Michael Collins went 5-5 as a DH.
