Roster Notes
- Darin Erstad will be trying to run at full speed on the basepaths today.
- Curtis Pride was sent to the DL with a strained back. Greg Jones got the callup from Salt Lake.
- The Dodgers will rely on a rotation trio of Penny, Lowe, and Maddux, giving extra days off or skipping Billingsley and/or Hendrickson the rest of the way.
- The Mariners sent Jamie Moyer to the Phillies for class A pitchers Andrew Barb and Andrew Baldwin (2006 stats).
- The Mariners disabled reliever Mark Lowe from elbow tendinitis, and called up Sean Green from AAA Tacoma.
- The A's have disabled Huston Street with a strained groin. LHP Ron Flores got the callup from AAA Sacramento.
- Update: The Mets acquired former Dodger reliever Guillermo Mota, from the Indians, for cash and a PTBNL.
