Northsiders Get First Complete Game Of The Year: Cubs 4, Reds 0
Rich Hill tossed a 10-K two-hitter against the Reds for the Cubs' first complete game of the season. The Cubs were in danger of becoming the first team in major league history to go an entire season without a complete game. With the loss, the Reds fall two games below .500 (73-75) and four games back of NL Wild Card leader San Diego.
Comments:
For a change, I actually agree with your comments on the Dodgers, both on the status of Billingsley and the fact that they can be good, and they can be awful. For the life of me, I can't understand how they continue to let the meager Padres score runs against them. Termel Sledge and Russell Branyan? Yikes! And the offense is so hot and cold it's ridiculous. The Angels, on the other hand, one more hitter and they would have had a good shot at it all this year. If I were an Angel fan, I would be livid about that.
