Ron Fairly To Retire From Broadcasting
Via The Griddle, former Dodger player and player and broadcaster for the Angels Ron Fairly is retiring from the broadcast booth as well. In addition to the Mariners and Angels, he also was on the Giants broadcast team. Fairly is 68.

Goddamn Fairly sucked as an Angels announcer - imagine the jock-talk of Hudler combined with teh rat-a-tat-a-tat of Physioc. He lectured on the need for the inside pitch ala Drysdale a minimum of three times PER GAME. And it was a full lecture with no study hall break.
