Twins Pick Up $12M Option On Torii Hunter
The Twins have picked up a $12M option on Torii Hunter for 2007, thus depriving the Angels of another target to fix their centerfield problems. On the other hand, the way things are shaking out, the Angels probably would have had to revisit the Garret Anderson mistake in negotiating with Hunter, who is on the wrong side of 30 (currently 31) and would be 34 at the end of a stipulated three-year deal. Whew.
