Dodgers Raise Ticket Prices

The Times reports the Dodgers have raised ticket prices "14% to 40%" in many areas.
In season packages, baseline seats range from $60 to $150 (compared to $50 to $150 last season), field level seats from $30 to $70 (up from $22 to $60), loge seats from $20 to $55 (up from $16 to $45) and reserved seats from $8 to $20 (up from $8 to $16).

Pavilion seats remain $6. Top deck seats rose from $3 to $4.

That's just for season tickets. Day-of-game ticket prices have yet to be released.

Comments:
im sure payroll will be up a comenserate amount with all the increases in concessions prices, ticket prices and parking prices.

Since the McCourts have taken over prices have skyrocketed and payroll remained flat. Yet people continue to come support a team that is at best a contender in a weak division every year.

I guess the fans get what they deserve.

Payroll jumped from 88 million in 2005 to 115 million in 2006. It's going to be at least that in 2007.

usa today differs with your figure. they say $98M in 2006, not $115M
