Toby Hall To The Chisox

Toby Hall has signed a two-year, $3.65M deal with the Chicago White Sox to be their reserve catcher behind A.J. Pierzynski. Some fates are worse than being benched.

Comments:
Heh. Still can't get over AJ's heads-up play in 2005 ALCS.

Hey, at least Hall will get playing time during the inevitable 10-game suspension A.J. Pierzynski will receive next year.

Worst. Fans. In. Baseball.

See, they're sore winners.

No, the worst fans (in terms of baseball knowledge) are on the North Side of Chicago. On the way home from the game, there's always the inevitable question, "and WHO did we play today?"

Say what you want about White Sox fans, but at least they know baseball.
