Figgins Out With Fractured Middle Finger
Chone Figgins, human guided missile on the basepaths lo these many for Mike Scioscia and Co., broke the middle finger of his right hand after Wednesday's 8-3 win over the Snakes. X-rays taken today confirmed the fracture; he hopes to be ready before opening day, but I have my doubts.

Yeah, if there really is a fracture, I would think it would keep Figgy out for about three weeks. I've had broken fingers. If you want 'em to heal, you gotta give them some rest.
Figure on some extra starts for Quinlan and Izturis. Erick Aybar probably makes the the big club, too.
