Braves Suspend Ex-Dodger Aybar

The Atlanta Braves suspended former Dodger Willy Aybar for being AWOL.
Willy Aybar's future with the Braves became even cloudier on Sunday afternoon, when the club announced that he had been suspended for three games for violation of team policy.

"He violated team policy, " general manager John Schuerholz said. "We're aware of where he is now, but he wasn't where he was supposed to be."

...

This isn't a first offense for Aybar. During Spring Training, while he was supposed to be rehabbing his hand injury, he missed a day because he was sick. But he never called the club to alert them he wouldn't be showing up that day.

Hat tip: BTF.

This seems to have become an Angels-only blog recently, aside from the occasional refernce to ancient ex-Dodgers trivia like this. The Dodgers have been winning games left, right and cener for the past several days, and you haven't seen fit to post (or bother viewing, presumably) any of it, not even the Jackie Robinson extravaganza, even on days when the Angels have been snowed out completely. If you've just given up on the Dodgers, maybe it's time to call this an Angels (only) blog? There'd be nothing wrong with that, and I'm sure you've got a whole lot else happening in your life too. But how can you call it an Angels/Dodgers blog when there's nothing, it seems, going on for the Dodgers even though they're now leading their division?

I got close to it after the parking fiasco. I have a long post building up in me about this very subject; I have been extremely disappointed in the Dodgers lately, and it shows.
