Kazmir Sweater: Devil Rays 5, Athletics 3
Scott Kazmir twirled a gem, giving up two runs, solo homers to Mark Ellis and Eric Chavez, striking out only one and walking two. Dallas Braden, a rare left-handed screwballer who doesn't really use it that much, got the start for the A's and got shelled for five runs in four and a third innings, all earned. B.J. Upton had a three-run blast, and Elijah Dukes and Rocco Baldelli both had solo homers in the top of the fifth.
Combined with Friday's 4-1 loss, the A's lose the series, and end the day 12-13, in third place in the AL West.
